Our Mission
V.A.C.A., Inc. is a public benefit program founded to empower seniors and adults with disabilities to realize better personal and social outcomes through our guardianship program.
Our Vision
At V.A.C.A., Inc., we want to ensure the people in our program can continue to live as safely and independently, as possible. With the help from community donations and compassionate volunteers we will be able to provide the peace of mind to our clients with overseeing quality healthcare and finances.
V.A.C.A.,Inc. partners with and is partially funded through the Volunteer Advocates for Seniors and Incapacitated Adults (VASIA) Program which provides volunteers that visit elderly, mentally ill, and intellectual/developmentally disabled individuals. VASIA Program volunteers are required to complete an application, conduct a criminal background check, and provide a driving history. Once complete, volunteers are matched with an individual in the community, and connected to various community events and resources in which to engage and participate!
Our Services
We provide legal guardianships through volunteer Guardian Advocates for incapacitated adults when such services are not available from willing, capable or suitable relatives or other interested persons. It is the goal of the organization that these services be administered in the least restrictive way and with the most respect for the value of all individuals in the community.
